Izakaya Yuzuki is now Yuzuki Japanese Eatery.
The name change has been a long time coming for owner Yuko Hayashi, whose Japanese restaurant on the (Tartine) corner of 18th and Guerrero has long veered away from more typical “izakaya”expectations.
With newish chef Kentaro Ikuta now fully up and running, Yuzuki offers an omakase menu on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday; do note that it needs to be ordered a week in advance and now costs $100.
The normal a la carte menu is online, but gluten-free and vegan menus are now offered as well:
